Nike x Maharam of New York

Nike has collaborated with Maharam of New York to release a black on black collection using the company's horsehair textiles. The collection includes two blazer styles and an Oregon Waffle.

Glashutte Original PanoMaticReserve XL Piece

A German watch maker owned by the French contributes a watch to charity sold to benefit the Italian Cancer Research Organization. Kind of ironic really, but the watch in question is very cool. Glashutte Original took its very popular PanoMaticReserve XL Watch and have put it in some new clothing. The new black and yellow bumble bee look is sporty and suave - certainly something I hope that they will think about making more widely. The 42mm case is in black PVD stainless steel. It contrasts nicely with the neon yellow on the dial, for the hand, and as the stitching on the strap. While the actual differences between this model and the standard PanoMaticReserve XL watches isn't that great, the watch really feels different.

ato- Spring/Summer 2010 - Studs Velcro High Cut Sneakers

It’s a studded affair with Ato Matsumoto’s footwear and apparel line, ato, for Spring/Summer 2010. Since ato had been spotted on famed celeb feet such as Kanye West (whose own Nike Air Yeezy is redolent of the ato velcro hi-top sneakers), the designer’s penchant for high drama in shoes has garnered a loyal and loving following outside Japan. Among his work, the designer’s signature Velcro Hi-Cut Sneakers with a generous silhouette and futuristic styling encompassed in the use of thick Velcro straps. Like the other ato sneakers, these are crafted from supple cowhide and dressed in a lavish wash of tough studs in varying shapes on tongue, Vecro straps and toe. The tonal black sneakers sport the signature “a” patch on their sides and carry a more subtle sense of rock and roll than other highly glamorous studded sneaker counterparts from Diet Butcher Slim Skin. Adidas Original x HECTIC - Yops! Samba

Tokyo’s HECTIC is one of the monumental street wear brand and store that was founded by Yops aka Yoppi aka Yoshifumi Egawa. A street figure that have contributed massively to the Tokyo street culture. adidas Original has picked him to be part of the Samba series and it is no surprise that Yops has chosen the blue tones as it is the color of Tokyo city that keeps recurring on many things he touches. On the upper features a combination of real leather and synthetic leathers creating a tonal contrast as well as textual balance. Crisp white midsole and outsole grounds the sneaker and on the inside a classic trefoil adidas logo is printed repeatedly. Custom HECTIC heel label is stitched on for the only branding on the shoes.
